2007 Hospice du Rhone
The Wine Channel was in Paso Robles for the 2007 Hospice du Rhone festival. The three day event is considered the single most fun gathering of international Rhone wine producers and enthusiasts in the world. Participants expanded their knowledge of the Rhone varieties with various seminars and wine tastings with 174 wineries world-wide represented. The event was held at the Paso Robles Fairgrounds and drew well over 1000 Rhone wine enthusiasts tasting Syrah, Mourvedre, Viognier and 19 other varietals and blends from France, Australia, Spain, Oregon, Arizona, Missouri and California.
